Metal Casting
At SARITVAT, we bring a fresh and efficient approach to rapid prototyping for die-cast components used in mass production. Our in-house team builds parts and tools with precision and supports customers worldwide, ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish. Here’s what we can help you with:
- Producing batch quantities of prototype parts with material behavior and accuracy very close to actual die-cast production.
- Developing single-cavity tools quickly using advanced rapid-prototyping and high-speed machining techniques.
- Creating master models for cost-effective gravity-cast and plaster-molded prototypes in brass, zinc, aluminum, cobalt, carbon steel, magnesium, and other metal casting processes.
- Offering custom prototyping methods, including machining parts from bar stock, to closely match the mechanical properties of different alloys we cast.
- Building fully functional prototypes designed to replicate the strength and performance of final die-cast components.
Supported Technologies
Sand Casting: A versatile and widely used method where parts are formed using sand molds. Great for producing complex shapes quickly and economically.
Investment Casting: Ideal for creating highly detailed, fully functional prototypes that closely match die-cast components. This process delivers excellent precision across a wide range of alloys.
Die Casting: One of the most common casting methods. Depending on the project, we use either hot-chamber or cold-chamber die casting to deliver accurate, high-strength parts.
Low-Pressure Casting: Similar to sand casting, but with controlled metal flow. It offers improved consistency and quality although the process takes a bit longer than high-pressure die casting.
Gravity Die Casting: Also known as permanent mold casting, this technique involves pouring molten metal into a reusable mold using natural gravity. It’s perfect for producing strong, high-quality parts.
